BOOK LAUNCH: MAKING THE GEOLOGIC NOW - Launched December 4th, 2012 this is a collection of short essays from over 40 artists, designers, architects, scholars, and journalists actively exploring and creatively responding to the geologic depth of “now.” Rachel contributed the illustrated essay Live Through This: Surviving the Pleistocene in Southern California.

PHOTOGRAPHY 2013 - Exhibition at Another Year in LA gallery, Jan 17th through March 8th, 2013 in the Pacific Design Center, West Hollywood. Rachel is showing 4 large prints.
DEAR DAVE, NO. 12 - Featured artist in Dear Dave, No. 12. Editor-in-Chief Stephen Frailey says "While suggesting the epic sweep of time and the endurance of the primordial landscape, it is also a variation of the tradition of the landscape photograph to broach the sublime, and in the process, rearrange our human proportion."
TED @ ART BASEL - Rachel presented a new talk on the intersection of Art + Time, as part of a conversation with TED Prize winner JR and TED Fellow Gabriel Barcia-Columbo. She covered 3.75 billion years back in time, up to a 60th of a second click of the shutter.
