The Poetics of Space
The Poetics of Space is a new project investigating our oh-so-human perspective and understanding of deep time and deep space; where our perceptions turn into misconceptions, and where astrophysics and philosophy begin to slip. Generously supported by the LACMA Lab Art + Tech program, the outcomes are not set, but the motivations are: to be immersed in environments tackling some of the most complex technical and scientific challenges from our exploration of space to the nature of the universe, pondered and meditated through a creative lens.
Hosts include SpaceX, NASA JPL, NASA Ames, and CERN.
New work in progress in 2016 with support from the SETI Institute Artist in Residence program.
